The Microstead and Garden Studio began as a simple home garden in 2021 with four tomato plants in containers on the porch, and it has been growing ever since. Tucked into a private backyard, the space currently includes five raised beds, a variety of container gardens, a small chicken coop, and big dreams in motion. Expansion plans for this summer include tripling the size of the covered chicken run, adding a small storage shed, a wild flower pasture, rental raised beds for community growing, and a composting system. It’s a small but mighty space rooted in care, creativity, and the joy of growing things - together.
